London is lending York our beloved b store for a month long pop up at the truly brilliant Coggles store. Coggles, for those who don’t already know (and therefore love) the online store, originated from a concept store oop North. Brilliantly, the Coggles shop was named  Sarah Coggles by founder Victoria Bage after her ex-husband’s mistress. She founded the hugely successful multi-brand store and website to remind him of the error of his ways. Revenge, a dish best served up as a thriving fashion business, we say.

The b store/Coggles pop up will house b store’s Spring Summer 12 ‘Inside Out’ collection as well as pieces from the b store loves Liberty collaboration, until the end of May. If anything were ever to tempt us away from the big smoke it would be this (at 91-93 Low Petergate  York, North Yorkshire YO1 7HY)

If you’re refusing to budge from the capital, you can browse www.coggles.com- and reflect on what poor old Mr Bage is missing out on.

Repeat print

By borrowing prints from the Liberty archive, Antipodium have whipped up an ultra-lovely line of patchwork apparel. The Antipodium Kraftwork collection has been created in collaboration with artist and quilter Ian Hundley and includes a shirt dress, skirt and sleeveless shirt that skilfully reimagine Liberty’s iconic Hera and Pepper prints. £179-£249.

Double knot

Avoid the 12-year-old-girl look by ditching the hair bobble around your wrist in favour of this Goody’s DoubleWear band. It looks like a simple piece of jewellery – but works exactly like an elastic hair tie. Available from Boots; £3.79 for a pack of three.

Beach body

We thought it might smell like washed-up seaweed, but there’s actually something marine-fresh about the fragrance of the National Trust’s new Coast bodycare collection. The heritage-preserving organisation has found time to produce a beautifully packaged rock samphire and driftwood-scented range, including an eau de toilette, body wash, body lotion, soap and candle. £9.50-£19.50.
