Shock horror: Henry Holland’s mother wears rival hosiery brand to his AW12 show We are as sickened as you are. After watching Henry’s thoroughly enjoyable bike themed show, we chanced upon the Holland Matriarch departing her front row seat. Steffi Holland has never shied away from a Holland ensemble- and this season was no different, with the proud mother wearing House of Holland Resort 2012 jacket, and a “House” by House of Holland pendant necklace. But the statement hosiery- AN UNIDENTIFIED BRAND. She begged us not to expose her shame- but the eiffel tower stockinged public needs to know.  Back to the business of the show itself- This was one of our favourite HOH collections to date. Slimline bicycle jockey silhouettes and cute little peaked rider’s caps were rendered in punchy dogtooth in the label’s trademark clashing brights. But there were some more restrained party pieces too- we had our beadys on newly crowned BFC ambassador Alexa Chung, (who spent much of the show rapping along to the Misshapes designed soundtrack with Nick Grimshaw and Pixie Geldof rather than attending the catwalk) and she pretty much went into meltdown over look 26- a sheeny pink dogtooth dress with frilled neckline. We wouldn’t be surprised if she wriggles her way into it before the week is out.
